Firing Luke Littler survived an early scare and a frosty reception from some in the Leicester crowd to gun down Danny Noppert and set up a mouthwatering Grand Slam final with Luke Humphries. ‌

And the 18-year-old made history as he became the youngest player ever to reach world number one as he was crowned hours before his showdown with his arch rival Humphries after the win over the dogged Dutchman. ‌
