BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - You can share your input about the future of downtown Baton Rouge during an upcoming public meeting.
According to the Downtown Development District, the meeting will take place on Monday, November 17, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Shaw Center for the Arts. While registration is not required, you are encouraged to do so ahead of time.
The meeting is the last of three gatherings scheduled to allow residents to weigh in on Plan BR III, which is the updated master plan for downtown. The most recent previous plan was created in 2009.
“All of the master plans that we’ve used thus far have really brought us so far, but we’re looking to get to that next chapter,” said Whitney Hoffman Sayal, the executive director of the Downtown Development District.
