Residents who complained about noise coming from a nearby sports facility have won a £130,000 payout after a five-year legal wrangle with a parish council.

Diggers have been breaking up the multi-use games area (MUGA) in Chapel-en-le-Frith Memorial Park, Derbyshire , which had been built in 2010 after a community fundraiser.
