ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A flight out of Dallas had to make an emergency landing in St. Louis after a bomb threat was made on board early Sunday.

According to a spokesman for St. Louis Lambert International Airport, United Airlines flight 380 was flying out of Dallas en route to Chicago when a passenger made a bomb threat on board the plane. The flight was diverted to make an emergency landing in St. Louis.

All passengers deboarded, and bomb sniffing dogs searched the plane, ultimately clearing it, the spokesman said.

According to FlightAware, the emergency landing in St. Louis was made just before 8:40 a.m. Sunday. The plane’s flight path indicates that the threat was made less than an hour into the flight.
