Branford Police say that a 19-year-old man has died from injuries sustained during a crash at the intersection of North Main Street and Cedar Street on Saturday night.

Just before midnight Branford Police and Fire responded to the two-car crash where three people were injured, police say.

First responders rendered lifesaving measures to the man with serious injuries who was then taken to Yale New Haven Hospital where he later died, according to police.

The two others were also taken to the hospital for their injuries, police say.

Branford Police and the South Central Connecticut Regional Traffic Unit are still investigating and ask that anyone who witnessed the crash to contact Officer Coutu at 203-481-4241.
