Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis was in the starting lineup Sunday for his first game action of the season. Davis was signed to the practice squad on September 4th as he was recovering from a long-term leg injury.
The Bills made Keon Coleman a healthy scratch on Sunday for missing a team meeting on Friday. Davis is likely to play in Coleman’s place.
Davis was a fourth-round pick of the Bills in 2020 NFL Draft. He started 47 games for the Bills from 2020 to 2023, playing in 64 total. He parlayed that into a big free-agent contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2024, but he was cut after an injury-plagued season.
