What is Marty Supreme about?

Marty Supreme is a fictionalized story of the real-life, award-winning table tennis player, Marty Reisman, whose name in the film has been changed to Marty Mauser. Per Variety , the synopsis reads: “A young man with a dream no one respects goes to hell and back in pursuit of greatness.”
