Kimberley Downs Mounts, 58 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Marshall Co. Hospital in Benton, Kentucky.

Kimberley was born in McCracken County, Kentucky on April 28, 1967, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Jane Hooper Cathers. Over the years, she greeted hundreds of students with a warm smile and a comforting meal in the cafeteria at Jonathan Elementary School. Kimberley was an excellent cook and enjoyed watching cooking shows when she wasn't at work or in the kitchen at home. She loved to travel and go kayaking but above all, she adored all of her grandchildren and dog, Toby.

She is survived by her husband, Everett Mounts of Benton, KY; son, Timothy Downs, Jr. and wife, Chanlie of Benton, KY; daughter, Jennifer Culp of Gilbertsville, KY; s
