ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Albemarle County Public Schools Superintendent Matthew S. Haas, Ed.D., announced in a letter sent out to ACPS families that an Albemarle High School student died in a car crash over the weekend.

Haas said the news has deeply affected the school community and acknowledged that students and staff may struggle with the loss.
