Firearm hunting season kicked off Saturday with the 14th annual Buck Pole at Dick Huvaere’s Richmond Auto Body. Treats and activities for all ages went on as hunters hung their day’s take on the buck pole. Vince Derry won first place in the Big Buck Division while Milo Poole was tops in the youth division and Gayle Doss topped the ladies division.
