Michigan football may have won on Saturday, but it didn’t impress voters in either poll out today.
The Wolverines remained 18th in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll released on Sunday, despite an 8-2 record and pathway still open to win the Big Ten.
Michigan narrowly beat Northwestern over the weekend, 24-22, a high-wire act at Wrigley Field that saw the Wolverines overcome five turnovers and need a game-winning field goal as time expired.
MLive’s Aaron McMann, one of 66 media members with a vote in the AP poll, had Michigan 19.
The top of the AP poll remained the same also, with Ohio State still claiming the top spot, Indiana at No. 2 and Texas A&M clinging to No. 3 after needing a come-from-behind performance to beat South Carolina.
But an Alabama loss helped reorder the top
