Tony Ann blushes when told that people in Goa call him the next Hans Zimmer. “It’s very flattering to be compared to someone who has achieved so much in music,” says the self-effacing Canadian composer whose own remarkable career now spans continents and genres. The internationally acclaimed pianist has also collaborated with some of the biggest names in the music industry. Born in Beijing and later moving to Canada, the 31-year-old Ann honed his skills at the prestigious Cleveland Institute of Music.
