STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The weather isn’t quite frightful yet, but some days this upcoming week will make you think the fire is so delightful.
Sunday’s windy conditions can and, unfortunately, will, blow around lawn décor, unsecured furniture, and other outdoor necessities as the gusts hit nearly 40 miles-per-hour, according to AccuWeather , as an advisory preps New York City and Long Island for the gusts.
Add in an odd sprinkle of rain or two, and that’s the day.
It won’t be terribly cold until nightfall, when the high of 54 degrees drops to 39 degrees.
The AccuWeather RealFeel predicts that the nighttime temperature will feel more like 26 degrees than 39 degrees.
That wind advisory will continue Sunday into early Monday morning, before dissipating at 6 a.m.
