MOORHEAD — Molly Musland's 24 points led the Concordia women's basketball team to a third consecutive win to open the season Sunday.
Paced by Musland, the Cobbers defeated Wisconsin-Stout 81-66 in a nonconference matinee matchup at Memorial Auditorium.
Kaia Gack and Maya Metcalf also achieved double figures for Concordia. Gack finished with 18 points while Metcalf chipped in 12 to go with a game-high eight rebounds.
Concordia led 19-11 after one quarter and 35-31 at halftime before pulling away over the final two frames and outscoring the Blue Devils 46-35.
The Cobbers shot 27 of 56 from the field for 48.2%, including 4 of 15 (26.7%) from 3-point range. Concordia hit 23 free throws on 31 trips to the stripe.
