STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Through 9 p.m. Sunday, Georgians are invited to bring at least five non-perishable items to Stone Mountain Park for its holiday food drive.

In exchange, donors will receive $15 off Stone Mountain Christmas entertainment and attractions.

The drive comes at a time when over a million Georgians are still recovering from the pause on SNAP benefits.

Stone Mountain Park asks that donors bring items such as rice, beans, cereal, snack bars, and canned goods. Donors are also invited to bring things like toiletries, toilet paper, cleaning products, and paper towels.

Stone Mountain Park has collected 60,000 pounds of food since 2023. It says the donations will go to Georgians in the most immediate need.
