ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A man was arrested in South Carolina in connection with a November 2024 killing in Atlanta, according to police.
Atlanta police said officers responded to the 1100 block of Pryor Street SW on Nov. 17, 2024, and found a 39-year-old man with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
According to police, 22-year-old Randall Zachary was arrested in Florence County, South Carolina, on Friday for his involvement in the shooting.
Zachary has been charged with murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
He is awaiting extradition to Atlanta.
