LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - The Beauty of Life Foundation is bringing its Changemaker Summit to Lake Charles tomorrow evening at the Governor’s Mansion on Broad Street.

The event will feature an inspiring lineup of guest speakers from the beauty industry, business community, and medical field, all coming together to highlight the importance of self-care and mental wellness.

Founder Trisha Nguyen says the goal of the summit is to provide meaningful support and community resources to families in the area.

“Beauty of Life is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping under-resourced children and families through innovative self-care solutions to heal families and rewrite history,” said Nguyen.

The event begins at 4 p.m. and will include Thanksgiving food item giveaways for attendees.
