CLEVELAND —
It was not pretty, but the Ravens barely extended their winning streak to four games after a close 23-16 victory over the Cleveland Browns.
The Ravens had several early mistakes but were able to overcome them thanks to a defense that pitched a shutout in the second half and some creative play calling late in the fourth quarter. The game was won thanks to a clutch 4th down call, when tight end Mark Andrews lined up under center like he was going to sneak it, only to run it outside for a 36-yard touchdown.
The Browns defense had dominated the line of scrimmage in short-yardage situations, so the play call to fake sneak was a genius call and caught Cleveland off guard. It was a good day for the running game that finished with 184 yards, the most against the Browns all season. Q
