SARATOGA SPRINGS — Flickering plastic candles dotted the standing-room-only Transgender Day of Remembrance service in the Skidmore College Wyckoff Center Sunday afternoon. A worldwide event, the Saratoga Springs community joined the annual memorial for transgender, non-binary and gender non-conforming people lost to violence and suicide.

“Unfortunately, we’ll see you all here next year,” Saratoga Pride Committee volunteer Cindy Swadba ended the event with.
