O.J. Simpson 's estate has agreed to pay the family of Ron Goldman $58 million, ABC News has learned.

According to court documents, the estate executor has accepted the family's claim.

The Goldmans originally asked for $117 million. The claim was filed in February 2021.

It's unclear how much the estate will be able to raise by selling off assets.

Simpson was acquitted of the 1994 murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and Goldman, but was found liable in civil court.

The Goldmans apparently only received a fraction of the $33 million judgment they were awarded in the civil trial.
