Delhi continues to reel under very poor air quality at the overall air quality index (AQI) stood at 361. A thick layer of toxic smog blanketed the national capital.
The Air Quality Early Warning System (EWS) recorded the city’s AQI at 361, while the private air quality monitor AQI pegged it at 422.
Data from the CPCB's Sameer app showed that five monitoring stations reported air quality in the 'severe' category, while 29 stations recorded 'very poor' levels with readings between 300 and 400.
The AQI at areas around Ghazipur was 369, Akshardham at 382, Abdul Kalam Road 394, Anand Vihar 383 and India Gate 341. The air quality was in the 'very poor' category.
