CANYON, Texas (KFDA) - The West Texas A&M Lady Buffs finished out the South Central Regional Challenge with two wins.
On Sunday, the Lady Buffs took down MSU Denver, 101-69.
WT scored 22+ points in each quarter and had three scorers in double-digits: Taylor Haggan (17), Randi Harding (13), and Kyla Kane (11). Haggan also led all scorers between both teams.
As a team, the Lady Buffs shot 54.3% from the field, 40% from three, and 62.5% from the charity stripe as well as recording 41 rebounds, 23 assists, nine steals, and a block.
This is the third straight win for the team and they now have an overall record of 3-1.
WT will be back in action Thursday on the road to UC Colorado Springs. Tip is set for 6:00 p.m. CST.
