BIRMINGHAM, Ala. —

A chilling film is taking people inside Alabama state prisons. The new Alabama Solutions documentary is a first-hand look at what some call horrific conditions. The film was released a little over a month ago on HBO Max.

Troy Golden told WVTM 13 he spent more than two years in prison. He said what he saw inside his cell can’t ever be undone. He hopes the documentary will give people more of an in-depth look at what inmates inside the justice system are faced with each and every day.
