HONOLULU, HI — In a swift response to the devastating wildfire spreading across the island of Maui, the Department of Justice has announced former President Donald Trump has now been indicted for the deadly blaze.

"It's time for Mr. Trump to be held accountable," said Hawaii Attorney General Anne Lopez, who worked closely with the DOJ on the indictment. "This fire is ravaging our beautiful state, destroying homes and taking the lives of innocent Hawaiians. We had no choice but to bring charges against Donald Trump."
