Traffic slowed down on the Mumbai–Bengaluru Highway near Narhe on Monday afternoon after a speeding container truck smashed into five vehicles on Bhumkar Bridge around 1:45 pm.

Police said the truck was moving fast when it hit a Mahindra pickup, Thar, Ertiga, Nissan and a Bolero ahead of it. All the vehicles suffered damage, but no one was hurt.

Traffic was briefly disrupted after the crash. Police are reviewing how the incident unfolded and are continuing their investigation.
