Injuries could not keep Quiante Smith, Cam Wendell from Avon’s playoff run

WADSWORTH, Ohio — Neither Quiante Smith nor Cam Wendell knew if their senior football seasons could continue when they suffered leg injuries in one of Avon’s biggest games this year.

Both wound up at the hospital the next day.
