Seattle — Despite its reputation as a hotbed for outdoor enthusiasts, Seattle has an abundance of gyms and fitness centers where one can exercise under a roof. The Seattle metro area has over 15 gyms per 100,000 residents — higher than the average metro area in this country, according to a recent Axios report that cited U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data. No matter where you choose to work out, though, there are a few ground rules to ensure a healthy and safe environment for all gym patrons.
