KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Department of Human Services said the U.S. Department of Agriculture is issuing full Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits for November starting Monday.
TDHS said SNAP recipients who received partial November benefits will receive the remainder of their benefit amount. Households who haven't received their benefits should expect to receive their full benefit amount in the coming days. Those who receive benefits on the 18th, 19th or 20th of the month will receive benefits on their normal date.
TDHS announced on Nov. 12 that partial SNAP benefits would be given out. The House and Senate passed a bill late that evening to effectively reopen the government.
