Since the federal government shutdown is now over, the Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS) is issuing full Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits starting Monday, November 17.

Tennessee SNAP recipients who have received part of their November benefits will soon receive the remainder of their November benefits, according to the TDHS.

The remainder of the benefits will be distributed to recipients' EBT card.

Benefits should be distributed "in the coming days," TDHS said.

In addition, those who usually receive benefits on November 18th, 19th, or 20th will receive the benefits on their usual date.

December SNAP benefits will be issued in full on each customer's normal date.
