Belmont University has announced the establishment of its Generous Life Course Fund, made possible by a $100,000 commitment from Nashville-based real estate company Anchor Investments.

According to a release, the donation will support a new, year-long academic program "blending philanthropy education with hands-on community engagement."

Housed within the Belmont University Global Honors Program and undertaken in collaboration with the Belmont Innovation Labs, the Generous Life Course allows students to gain both theoretical and practical knowledge of philanthropy and nonprofit work.
