Two people were wounded, and one of them is in critical condition after a stabbing Sunday night on the South Side, authorities said.

The two men were stabbed in the 1200 block of East Carson Street about 10:30 p.m., according to Pittsburgh Public Safety. They each had stab wounds to the chest and torso.

One of them was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The other was in stable condition, police said.

Police said a suspect was arrested and charges were expected.
