External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Monday reached Moscow to discuss bilateral cooperation during the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Heads of State Council meeting.

“We are preparing for President Vladimir Putin’s visit to India. During our meeting, we will exchange views on complex global and regional issues, including Middle East and Afghanistan. India-Russia ties long been a factor of stability in the world," Jaishankar said at the start of the meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

According to a post on X by the Indian embassy in Russia, “EAM Jaishankar Arrives In Moscow & Is Greeted By Ambassador Vinay Kumar & Alexey Pavlovsky From Russia’s Foreign Ministry."
