An Upstate New York man is accused of firing a “less-lethal pistol” at a car in a road rage incident, according to police.
WRGB reports Landon E. Spring-McCarty, 22, of Saratoga Springs, was arrested after allegedly firing a projectile at another vehicle on I-87 in Clifton Park Friday morning. The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said it responded to a report of shots fired, at 7:14 a.m.
Deputies said Spring-McCarty used a “less-lethal pistol” that struck the other vehicle. Additional details about the alleged weapon were not disclosed; no injuries were reported.
WNYT reports there was a minor child in Spring-McCarty’s vehicle at the time of the incident. Police did not say what relationship he had to the child.
