Rail staff at TransPennine Express have voted to take industrial action later this month.
Members of the TSSA working at TPE as operations managers have voted in favour of both strike action and action short of a strike, the union said.
'Several dozen' workers voted unanimously in the ballot, which was being run in a dispute over on-call working arrangements and payments.
Action short of a strike, where workers continue to work but withdraw from certain tasks, will start from Tuesday, November 25.
