A woman who endured a frightening incident in her own car has urged other female motorists to stay vigilant. Liv Bedford turned to TikTok to emphasise the importance of securing your vehicle doors to safeguard yourself from potential attackers and serious danger .

"This is your sign to always lock your car doors as soon as you get in," she began in a clip shared on TikTok . Clearly shaken, Liv recounted her chilling experience: "A couple of nights ago I was walking to my car, it was late at night and pouring down with rain - it was pitch black so I was running to my car."

After getting into her motor and securing the doors as she routinely does, Liv said she was confronted by the sight of a man positioned beside her driver's window .
