CHINO HILLS, Calif. (KABC) -- An investigation is underway Monday after eight people - including children - were injured in an explosion at a Chino Hills home .
The blast occurred around 3:45 p.m. Sunday at a home in the 4200 block of Sierra Vista Drive.
AIR7 was above the scene and captured pieces of the home scattered all over Sierra Vista Drive, and a gas line built into a wall outside the home, which burned for hours.
The Chino Valley Fire District said the gas leak at the property was stopped at 10:45 p.m., but investigators are now working to figure out why the home burst into flames.
Investigators said eight to nine victims were inside the home during the explosion. Paramedics rushed half of them to the hospital, and witnesses said a neighbor took some of the young victims to
