Agartala, 17 th November 2025: Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha today said that the state government is determined to implement a comprehensive and effective policy to ensure the supply of safe drinking water to every resident.

He said that necessary instructions have already been issued to the concerned departmental officials to achieve this goal.Dr Saha reiterated the government’s commitment while addressing a review meeting of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Department held today at the Secretariat Conference Hall today.

He emphasized that the government aims to provide hygienic drinking water to every household in both rural and urban areas.
