KOPPAL: Four people were arrested for transporting ganja after police conducted a raid at Chikkajantakal village in Gangavathi taluk on on Sunday night. All the arrested are natives of Andhra Pradesh. The accused were allegedly transporting approximately 5.75 kg of ganja from Vijayawada to Ballari.

Based on specific information, the police conducted the raid and seized the ganja. The police investigation revealed that the ganja was meant to be distributed in Gangavathi, including areas like Anegondi, Sanapur and Basapur. A case has been registered at the Gangavathi Rural police station.
