FALMOUTH, Maine — A Portland man has been charged in connection with a Nov. 14 armed robbery at the Walmart in Falmouth, according to Falmouth police.
Just before 8 p.m. that Friday, a masked suspect apparently entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded money from a cash register. The suspect fled the scene with cash in a vehicle. No one was injured during the incident, officials said.
On Nov. 26, the Falmouth Police Department charged 40-year-old Brian Gallerani with robbery, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, and criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon. Gallerani is currently being held at the York County Jail for a probation violation, according to a news release from Falmouth police.
