TAMPA, Fla. — More than 100 missing or endangered children were rescued, including 57 from the Tampa Bay area, through a multi-agency operation.
The United States Marshals Service, along with federal, state, local and non-governmental partners, found 122 children over two weeks during "Operation Home for the Holidays."
Officials found or recovered children across Florida and in nine other states, ranging from 23 months to 17 years old. A portion of these kids told officials they experienced abuse and were near other criminal activity.
