WASHINGTON — Police have released surveillance images of the suspect wanted in the shooting of New York Jets cornerback Kris Boyd , who remains in critical but stable condition after he was shot early Saturday morning in Midtown Manhattan.
The 29-year-old was shot in the abdomen around 2 a.m. on West 38th Street near Seventh Avenue, the New York Post reported. Law enforcement sources told the outlet the shooting happened outside Sei Less restaurant after a dispute turned violent and a gunman fired two shots.
In a new Crime Stoppers alert, the NYPD said the gunman fled eastbound on West 38th Street and remains at large. He is described as a male with a medium complexion, last seen wearing a black cap, black sweatshirt, black pants, multi-colored sneakers and carrying a black bookbag.
