It’s playoffs and postseason galore here in Lafayette Parish and its surrounding areas with fall sports wrapping up.

High school girls volleyball has come to an end while football’s journey to the Superdome has just begun. Winter sports are also creeping in as we inch closer and closer to the end of November. With so much action-packed prep sporting events going on in the 337, there were plenty of athletes to choose from for this week’s Athlete of the Week.

Here are the nominations for the athlete of the week for the week of Nov. 10-16, which includes athletes from the following fall sports: football, girls volleyball and wrestling. Voting will close at 9 a.m. Friday.
