BATON ROUGE — LSU's search for its next LSU football head coach is starting to heat up as the 2025 college regular season is winding down.

The search's first big development happened Monday as Lane Kiffin 's family was in Baton Rouge to "tour the city," according to a report from The Advocate. LSU officials sent a private plane to Oxford, Mississippi, to pick up members of the current Ole Miss coach's family to fly them to town.
