Antoine Semenyo is an early doubt for Bournemouth’s clash with West Ham after withdrawing from the Ghana squad with injury.
Semenyo started on Friday in an international friendly against Japan but was withdrawn in the 56th minute as Ghana fell to a 2-0 defeat.
The Black Stars are due to face South Korea in another friendly on Tuesday, but Semenyo will play no part after being ruled out with an injury.
In a brief statement on their website, titled ‘Antoine Semenyo’s injury’, the Ghana Football Association said: ‘Left anterior talo-fibula ligament sprain, which was aggravated during the game against Japan.’
The 25-year-old did not appear to be in discomfort when he left the pitch, with any potential injury was not discussed by Ghana head coach Otto Addo in the post-match press conference
