Beloved seafood shack Bob Lobster caught fire Saturday evening, which led to the brief closure of Plum Island Turnpike while multiple fire agencies responded to the scene, according to a press release .

Newbury firefighters, who received help from the Newburyport, Rowley, and Georgetown fire departments at the scene, were able to successfully put out the small fire. The Newbury Fire Department also was supported by firefighters from West Newbury, Salisbury, Groveland, and Amesbury, who covered Newbury’s stations at the time of the blaze.

Officials received a call about the fire around 4 p.m., according to the press release from John Guilfoil Public Relations.
