Bengaluru, Nov 17 (UNI) The Indian Men’s Hockey Team, in the wee hours of Monday, departed from Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru for Ipoh, Malaysia to participate in the 31st Sultan Azlan Shah Cup 2025, scheduled from November 23to 30.

The Sultan Azlan Shah Cup has long been regarded as one of the most prestigious invitational tournaments in world hockey, offering teams a valuable platform to compete against high-quality opposition.

This edition features a strong field, with India set to face Korea in their opening match on 23rd November, followed by fixtures against Belgium, hosts Malaysia, New Zealand and Canada in the round-robin stage.

The top two teams at the end of the league phase will seal a spot in the Final on November 30.
