BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - The Winslow Black Raiders won the Class D North football championship over the John Bapst-Bangor Christian Crusaders, 42-14, on Saturday.

The Black Raiders avenged a 27-14 regular season loss to Bapst in the regional title game.

This time, Winslow led, 21-14, at halftime.

They never looked back, outscoring the Crusaders, 21-0, in the second half.

“The locker room was going crazy. The momentum was up. When we came back, we were like ‘it’s 0-0, we have to focus up.’ (Beating the Crusaders after the regular season loss) feels absolutely amazing.
