Steinbach RCMP responded to a pair of alleged domestic assault incidents over the weekend.

The first one happened Saturday morning in Steinbach. Police were contacted at 10 am. According to police, a 52-year-old male from Steinbach now faces charges of assault, while a 46-year-old female from Steinbach faces charges of assault with a weapon.

The second incident was reported Sunday at 9:27 am. It occurred in Blumenort. Police say a 43-year-old male from Blumenort now faces charges of assault and mischief.

Steinbach RCMP also responded to a couple of reports of break-and-enter over the weekend. Police say the first incident was reported on Saturday at 4:21 pm. It occurred in the Rural Municipality of Ste. Anne. As a result, a 48-year-old male from the RM of Ste. Anne now faces charges of
