ANN ARBOR, MI — An experienced progressive political leader wants to sit on the governing board for the University of Michigan.
Sean Rositano, a Democratic legislative director in the Michigan House of Representatives, announced on Facebook Monday, Nov. 17, his campaign for a University of Michigan Board of Regents seat.
He is running “to give the university back to its people, its faculty, staff, students and health care providers that make it great,” Rositano, a “Jewish Detroiter and proud Michigan alum,” said in his campaign launch video.
The terms of Democrats and Regents Jordan Acker and Paul Brown are to expire in 2027. Both regents are eligible to run for re-election in 2026.
