MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – Authorities say a man who had a warrant in connection to a family disturbance in Harris County shot himself after deputies in Montgomery County tried to take him into custody.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said it happened at the McDonald’s at 32323 SH-249, which is at the intersection with Decker Prairie Road.
The sheriff’s office says deputies from Montgomery County found the suspect at the McDonald’s and tried to take him into custody.
The suspect ran into the bathroom and reportedly shot himself.

He was taken to a hospital. His condition is currently unknown.
An investigation is ongoing.
